Cover rating: 4/5
Summary:
Charismatic bar owner Rowdy Yates isn't the kind of man women say no to. So when he approaches waitress Avery Mullins, he fully expects to get her number. However, the elusive beauty has her reasons for keeping her distance; including a past that might come back to haunt them both.

Avery spends her nights working for tips; and trying to forget the secret Rowdy is determined to unearth. But when history threatens to repeat itself, Avery grows to rely on Rowdy's protective presence. As the sparks between them ignite, she will be forced to choose between the security she's finally found; and the passion she's always wanted.

My 2 Cents:
Her previous book that I've read Bare It All is one of my favorite. Now, this new one will be equally one of my favorite also. Lorry's writing always amaze me. I dont think she ever try so hard so hard to make it believable. Every words and sentences seem to be effortless but it works for me. One thing that really bugged me was his introduction character. To have regular sex for him to fill in his emptiness because of a girl who played getting hard to get is quite disturbing for me. LOL. But as the story went on, I totally understand. The reason why Avery acted like that, gave a different twist to jazz up the plot. Running away from something you cant handle  sometime make you loose your sanity. All in all, the book really has a lot to offer. A little of romance, heat, steamy scene and a little bit of thrill in one single book. I had a great weekend with this book. So will you ;p
